Ardbeg
THE ULTIMATE ISLAY SINGLE MALT
The small, remote Scottish island of Islay (pronounced ‘eye-lah’) is an antique land. A wild and untamed place, where Celtic monks found refuge from raiding Norsemen and early distillers smuggled their illicit “aquavitae” at Ardbeg’s rugged rocky cove.
Abundant soft water, fertile soil and acres of precious peat makes this island a place of pilgrimage for the single malt whisky faithful.
Ardbeg has been called “as close to perfection as makes no difference,” by whisky connoisseurs. Proof then, that Ardbeg truly deserves its incredible reputation. It’s a whisky that’s worshipped around the world. In the past ten years, six different Ardbeg expressions have won prestigious titles including World Whisky of the Year, Scotch Whisky of the Year and World’s Best Single Malt.
At just 5 years old, the legendary smokiness of Ardbeg is untamed by age, revealing the inner beast of this Islay icon. Non-chill-filtered at 47.4%.
Ardbeg 10 Years Old
Ardbeg Ten Years Old is revered around the world as the peatiest, smokiest, most complex single malt of them all. Yet it does not flaunt the peat; rather it gives way to the natural sweetness of the malt to produce a whisky of perfect balance. Non chill-filtered with a strength of
46% ABV.
Ardbeg An Oa’s rounded complexity emerges in the Distillery’s bespoke Gathering Room, where whiskies matured in different cask types are married together by an Ardbeggian alchemy, to form a peaty yet rounded dram. Non-chill-filtered with a strength of 46.6% ABV.
Ardbeg Corryvreckan
Swirling aromas and torrents of deep, peaty, peppery taste lurk beneath the surface of this beautifully balanced dram. Awarded The World’s Best Single Malt in 2010 by the World Whiskies Awards. Non-chill-filtered at 57.1% ABV.
