Volcan De Mi Tierra’s true beginnings date back over 200,000 years, when the “tequila” volcano erupted, and nourished the soil of the Jalisco region in Mexico.
Volcan De Mi Tierra, which translates into “land of the volcano”, embodies a celebration of provenance and legacy.
Volcan De Mi Tierra harmonizes 300 years of passion and entrepreneurship, joining the Gallardo family’s heritage and deep Mexican roots with Moët Hennessy’s commitment to craftsmanship and savoir-faire.
Driven by a burning passion for making a different tequila, handcrafted from field to bottle. Our tequila comes from the heart of a passionate community. We invest in tomorrow by reducing our environmental footprint and helping localities. We infuse legacy and innovation, blending the best of the old and new worlds. We use the traditional process of Tahona volcanic rock milling and modern milling machines.
Volcan Reposado
100% blue agave from the rich red soil of the highlands of Tequila, Jalisco, aged in a blend of American and European Oaks. A smooth and balanced taste, product of a delicate interaction between time and wood. Our aroma has fruity notes such as blackcurrant, red apple, pineapple and well-ripened peaches combined with nuts and dried fruits/ In the background, floral and honey notes appear. Very balanced and smooth. Our taste is soft with rich mouth fill at the back. Toasted and tobacco notes sustained over time. Fruity notes reappear highlighting pineapple with light citrus and very pleasant mild honey flavour.
Volcan Cristalino
Blending 2 Reposado & Añejo tequilas , a blend of oak wood flavours with a hint of Añejo tequila. Cristalino gives you a fusion of: Tabacco, dried fruits, chocolate, vanilla and the cooked agave, all come together to form a unique liquid. It’s powerful personality shines thru with robust flavours of caramel, tobacco and dark chocolate, while finishing with a silky permanence in the mouth. It unveils its best aromas sipped neat or savoured chilled on the rocks.
Volcan X.A (Xtra Assemblage)
A unique blend of ages. True to innovation. The 3 layers of aging that unveil a very smooth tequila profile. The reposado base brings the right level of sweetness and smoothness, while Añejo and Extra-Añejo add aromatic elegance and complexity. A subtle recipe kept by our Master Distiller. Volcan X.A reveals a perfect balance of cooked agave, hints of spice and sweet aromas such as notes of vanilla, caramel and dried fruits.
